Mary and Simon Smith, both 45, took advantage of some rare British sunshine, managing to wash and dry three loads of laundry in a single day, sending them into a state of sexual ecstasy.
Simon explained, "I thought that remembering to get the right recycling bin out on the correct day was a rush.
“But this was a whole different level. Three. Full. Loads!
"I believe it's what young people refer to as 'life goals'.
"I can never remember the date of our wedding anniversary, but I'll never forget the moment we took down the last item off the line.
"We looked into each other's eyes and broke into waves of sexual euphoria.
“We both fell to the ground, rolling around in a pile of Umbro trackies and M&S jeans.
"However, we have since apologised to the Neighbourhood Watch group, who heard our noises and thought that a fox was being slaughtered."
Mary was equally delighted about the experience, "I posted about it on Facebook and got over 40 likes from our fellow middle-aged friends.
"The birth of our daughter only got 10 which just shows the magnitude of the achievement. Three. Full. Loads!"
