A middle aged man has turned heads after he was spotted swaggering around with a face mask hanging from one ear.
Steven Spondle, 47, was spotted letting his mask hang loose in a devil-may-care style from his right ear when it was not required.
Reports claim that an attractive woman, much younger than Spondle, caught a glimpse of the dangling mask and mouthed the word "wow" as she nodded in approval.
Spondle's best friend, Ryan Roland, stated, "I had never seen anyone have their face mask casually hanging from an ear like that until Steven did it.
"He could have just kept it in his pocket like a normal person, but that's just not how Steven handles business.
"For sure, he's a maverick. But it lets everyone know he's also super serious about stopping the spread of coronavirus.
"He looked so cool, the mask reminded me of an earring some wild rock star like Sting or Phil Collins would wear.
"This is definitely how the Fonz from 'Happy Days' would wear a mask, had he been caught up in a global pandemic.
"I tried the look for myself, but Steven said I was just being a copycat and couldn't pull it off anyway."
Spondle completed his middle-aged bad boy look with some fresh M&S jeans, a dope black faux leather jacket and UB40 t-shirt.
