A mum has let fly an expletive laden rant at her husband and child after they accidentally splashed her in a Center Parcs swimming pool.
Mrs Smith, 41, was desperate not to ruin her new hairdo, despite reports that it made her look a bit ‘mumsy’.
However, this did not stop her launching a full scale verbal assault on her daughter after her hair was left quite wet.
Eyewitness Mark Stevens was left gobsmacked by the tirade.
“The husband and kid were mucking around with a beachball having a whale of a time. Meanwhile, she's swimming up and down doing that mum stroke, y’know, it's like the breast stroke but her chin didn't touch the water.
"All of a sudden the kid jumps into the pool, sending a wave over the mum's head.
"I immediately glanced at the dad who was in the shallow end looking like he was about to get a bollocking off the headmaster.
"And that's when the swearing and yelling started.
"She started in on the kid first, calling her all sorts of names and saying how she wished she'd never been born.
"Then the dad got an earful about how he was useless and she should have married some guy from college.
"Honestly, I thought Gremlins were going to start popping out of her.”
Further reports confirmed the pool was left in an awkward silence, forcing even the lifeguard to look away despite the fact there was a young boy struggling in the deep end.
Stevens went on to add, “I’ve never heard a mum swear so much at a child. And I work the kids’ section at Asda.”
Mrs Smith was left devastated by the incident which resulted in her having mildly frizzy hair, taking her over twenty minutes to sort out.
